Chromatic Technologies offers 10 basic configurations of self supporting cables. They're designed for long haul networking, interbuilding, campus LAN, trunking, and local loop applications. They handle IEEE 802.3 for 1000 Base SX/LX (1000 Mbps), 100 Base F (100 Mbps) and 10 Base F (10 Mbps); ATM 155 Mbps, 622 Mbps, 1.2/2.4 Gbps; Fibre Channel FC-PH (1062 Mbps); IEEE 802.5 (16 Mbps); FDDI (100 Mbps); ICEA 83-596; TIA/EIA-568B; IEEE p1222 (Draft); UL1581 and IEEE-383.

Long Span dry-blocked dielectric (DLS750L) for runs up to 1200/1500 feet (depending on fiber count)

Long Span tray-rated dry-blocked dielectric (DXPLS) for runs up to 800/1400 feet (depending on fiber count)

S-Z stranded for mid span access
Singlemode or multimode fibers (up to 216 fibers in some constructions)
Color coded for easy identification
Colored rip cords for ease of identification and jacket removal
Span lengths up to 1,500 feet (457 meters) NESC Heavy loading available
Figure 8 design uses 1/4" steel (6.6m) messenger suitable for standard hardware
Tray rated OFN UL1581 and IEEE-383 cables available
