SFP
and GBIC technology was born in the Ethernet switching and routing world, and
MRV provides a wide variety of solutions for this traditional networking
environment. The OptiSwitch® family of Ethernet switches and routers contains
products in all form factors, fixed form and modular, that provide plug-in
interfaces for SFP, GBIC and even XFP modules. In this environment, pluggable
interfaces provide a dramatic increase in flexibility, including WDM capability
with very low cost and simple-to-configure options.

including Layer 3 classifi cation features. With this capability, the
OptiSwitch is one of the most flexible Ethernet switching systems available,
with interfaces for all forms of Ethernet, TDM over IP, and
Ethernet-over-VDSL.
